Trauma-informed therapy for couples who want to examine interaction patterns, communicate with greater clarity, and work toward shared relationship goals.

Trauma-informed care
A way of working, not a third service.
Trauma-informed care means the therapeutic process gives deliberate attention to safety, trustworthiness, transparency, collaboration, empowerment, voice, and choice. It also seeks to avoid unnecessary re-traumatization.
This lens can guide both individual and couples therapy without assuming that every concern is trauma based. It does not mean the practice offers EMDR, formal trauma evaluations, or every trauma-focused treatment.
Rates and payment
$250
per therapy session
No insurance accepted
This is a private-pay practice. Insurance is not billed, and the full session fee is the client's responsibility.
Superbills available
A superbill can be provided upon request for you to submit to your insurance plan. Michael does not submit claims, verify benefits, communicate with the insurer, or guarantee reimbursement. Submission and follow-up are your responsibility.
HSA and FSA
HSA and FSA cards may be used for payment. Eligibility depends on your plan rules and available funds, so confirm coverage with your plan administrator.
Free consultation inquiry
There is no fee to submit an initial inquiry. If Michael decides to proceed, clinical forms are sent through the SimplePractice Client Portal.
Online in California
Clients must be physically located in California at the time of every therapy session.
Fit review
Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee acceptance or establish a therapist client relationship.
Important practice boundary
Documentation and evaluation services are not provided.
